A new report seen by CNN claims China has set up over 100 police stations masquerading as diplomatic missions on foreign soil after signing security cooperation agreements with multiple countries.
Croatia, Serbia, South Africa and Italy are among countries to have signed security deals according to the report, which suggests illegal undeclared activity ranging from surveillance, entrapment and silencing dissent.
We must always look to the past to understand our present time, and therefore plan for a better future, and regarding our past, we know that the fall of Africa/Egypt was facilitated by foreign mercenaries hired for our security. In other words, the Africans decided to employ Greek mercenaries for their security, and the same mercenaries turned on the Africans and destroyed them. What is remarkable is that our leaders are still making the same mistake today. Apparently, hiring foreign military to train our armies or to be part of the presidential protection tactical unit is no longer enough, our leaders allow foreign armies to establish their bases on the continent without any critical look at what these actions might drive Africa’s future.
Above all, when we know that China’s only interest is to overtake the United States and subsequently become the world’s superpower, and that the power to which China aspires is not intended to save Africa from its colonialist powers, but it is, on the whole, destined to replace the old oppressors by becoming a new one. So, the question we ask our leaders is whether they know the story or whether these decisions are simply based on a lack of management skills, or of the appropriate strategies on their part.
In any case, it is no longer a secret that most current leaders in Africa are loyal to foreign powers than they are to Africa and its people. In this respect, one must recognize the contingency plan, which sees the future of Africa based on projects and actions undertaken by the masses. This is what Cheikh Anta Diop underlined well when he affirmed that “In the final analysis, the moving force of history lies in the determination of the oppressed classes to free themselves from their condition. If that condition is intolerable and humanly inadmissible, the rebellious conscience becomes revolutionary”.
