Recent data out of America has shown that more than 70% of the millennials and Gen-Z in the United States are willing to buy Chinese made cars. This group born after 1985 are not about to be held back by Washington’s ideological position which they see as the cause of America’s problems in the first place.
This is coming on the back of Washington’s push to ban Chinese made electric cars from accessing the American market by imposing 100% tariff on them. Washington did not stop there but went ahead coerce its fellow European allies to follow suite, Europe has recently increased its tariff on China’s automobile industry to 38%.
Amidst this comic kicking and screaming by Capitol hill and Brussels, the western world has further mixed it up with hysterical propaganda against directed towards their own population; propaganda of how Chinese cars are going to collect their data back to the so-called Communist China. But the Younger people are not about to give in to this blackmail knowing what the CIA, NSA and other neocolonial agencies have been doing in collaboration with social media platforms like Meta Facebook and Twitter before it became Elon Musk’s X.
What is rather interesting is that these young people apart from the older ones who after many decades of this noisy assault, have surrendered to the assault by the numerous lies including about the Iraq war by the US government and all its decaying institutions, this younger population has refused to surrender towards the false narratives, they clearly see through the B.S.

Hiding behind this uncouth western behavior is the failure to catch up with the technological revolution, America specifically, has not only not caught up with the electric car revolution but the highspeed trains technology and renewable energy industry as well.
America’s failure to innovate in these fields has been turned into anger, fear and anxiety, it now manifests itself in the daily invented and dogmatically pumped-out slogans prevalent in the speeches of majority American politicians. Confusion abounds as well; when the neocolonial media does not receive instructions on what to say from the US state department, it pumps out whatever it can, ending up with the praise of China and its technologically advanced electric cars.
Further manifestation of America’s failures is not only manifested in claims of how China is copying and stealing intellectual property as in the Huawei case, the hypocrisy penetrates towards bad policies like the Biden Administration’s Chips and Science act. America is attempting to resuscitate the dead, while China is the biggest semi-conductors’ market and is now making its own, one wonders who and where Washington will sell its chips if not China.
Followed by its irritating, humiliating and hated bullying tactics and sanctions, it is not hard to see that Washington is engaging in chips production over-capacity as there won’t be market for the chips apart from its military industrial complex which is not sufficient to absorb all the production.
The Chinese people through their innovativeness are giving the imperialist states enough work, China’s technological victory lap in the automobile and aircraft manufacturing industry is an announcement that Washington must not, should not and will not continue to use blackmail by printing paper to live off the sweat of the global south.
Amidst the past many catastrophic willful adventures which many Millennials and some of the Gen-Z saw America embark on in their lifetime, it not difficult to see why they are now resistant to western propaganda.
To put it in the words of 2pac Shakur; China has personified what the west once glamorized. It has democratized the technology whenever it has had a chance, from the mobile telephone technology, high speed trains, automobile and now the taking on of the aircraft industry as the Chinese made COMAC C919 aircraft succeeds amidst Boeing’s recurring mishaps many leading to death as in the Ethiopia and Malaysia where the Boeing’s 737-Max was found to have software bugs.
Form the look of things, it seems China has broken not one but many spells; racial, political, economic and even moral. This indicates that China will continue forward at electric speeds with the backing of the global south markets as well as the global audience while the horse dragged western politicians continue to resist towards futility.
