Over the weekend, ACUP member Kwame Gonza participated in the 2025 Annual Africa Prosperity Dialogues which lasted for 3 days from 30th January 2025 to 1st February 2025, an event that brings together African leaders, business figures, and influencers to discuss the economic trajectory of the continent.
Among the distinguished participants were the Keynote Speaker, President John Dramani Mahama of Ghana, President Asoumani Azali of the Union of Comoros, and Faure Gnassingbé, the President of Togo. These high-level discussions underscored the importance of Africa’s economic unity and progress.
On the third day of this prestigious event, ACUP Member Gonza had the honor of engaging with Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, the former Chairperson of the African Union Commission, as well as other prominent figures from Ghana and across Africa. The highlight of these discussions was the presentation of the African Railway Triangle Network Master Plan, an ambitious initiative aimed at transforming continental connectivity and promoting economic integration.
This visionary project, championed by the ACUP through Century Rail Ltd, sets the groundwork for a new, interconnected Africa, where trade and movement are enhanced, bringing long-term stability and prosperity. The ACUP further seeks to leverage Dr. Zuma’s influence within Africa to further engage the Pan African Parliament in South Africa as a way to strengthen its advocacy and push for the realization of a fully developed and Free Africa.
