In a Condolence letter dated 21st January 2024, the African Continental Unity Party Movement expressed sadness at the loss of a great Pan-African Dr. Edward Mitole. He was a Scholar of African Studies in South Africa.
He is spoken well of by various ACUP members as someone who was helpful and listened to anyone who desired to talk about the total liberation of Africa from Imperialism and its neocolonial controls.
Dr Mitole was a frequent guest on major South African media Platforms.
Beyond the mourning, the ACUP expressed optimism and hope that the Legacy of Dr. Mitole will continue on, he will continue to work alongside us just like all the other ancestors who have gone before us, the letter of condolence stated.
